Tube Inserts or Turbulators

Turbulators to enhance heat transfer inside tubes are designed and manufactured in TAAM, India. At present we have developed machines to manufacture two types of tube inserts: wire matrix tube inserts and wire loops soldered to rigid rod.

Wire Matrix Turbulators

These consist of loops of wire woven in a matrix and held together without soldering on special purpose machines developed by TAAM. The number of loops in a foot of length varies from 120 - 600. Our turbulators are suitable for tube inside diameters from 3 mm to 41 mm. The wires used are - all grades of stainless steels, copper and galvanised steel.

Wire Loops Soldered on Rod

These consist of rectangular loops of wire spirally wound and soldered over a rigid metal rod. We can design and suggest  configurations suitable for different process conditions. The wires used are - all grades of stainless steels, copper and galvanised steel.
